I am hugely lucky to be the first ever artist awarded an Artist's Residency by the Friends of Scott Polar Research Institute (SPRI) in conjunction with the Royal Navy.

Receiving this award, after a selection process, allowed me to spend five weeks as artist in residence on board HMS Scott in Antarctica on her inaugural voyage there in 2010. It proved to be an incredible, challenging experience and one which I enjoyed enormously!

After a second stunning visit to Antarctica, this time working with m/v Plancius, I continue to enjoy quality time in the studio.

Fabulous South Georgia  now features alongside the South Shetlands, South Orkney's and Antarctic Peninsula in ongoing work.
